Today is the one year anniversary of Hudson Heights Gazette. We set out one year ago to provide independent news and opinions about Hudson Heights, our one-square mile neighborhood bounded by the Hudson River, Fort Tryon Park, Broadway and Interstate 95. The goal is simple: provide hyper-local news and promote the improvement of Hudson Heights whenever possible.
So far, we've posted 170 blog entries, attracted 9 followers and had over 10,000 page views (no, that doesn't count me, my mother or my dog). To celebrate the one year anniversary, we are renewing our invitation to neighbors to submit comments, photographs, news and other information. We are also adding a much needed blogger, Melissa F. Moschitto. Melissa is a local playwright, producer and general connoisseur of uptown cultural offerings.

Speaking of which, have you see this petition against the 190th st construction plans?

Thanks for the welcome, Chris! Here's to a second even more successful year!
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your website when I first moved here earlier this year. I've been a frequent visitor ever since and you even helped me to ultimately choose this area as the place that my partner and I wanted to live. Thank you and here's to many great years to come!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your anniversary. I stumbled upon your blog too, and as a resident of the neighborhood, I enjoy reading it. If you ever need any more bloggers, especially those with a parent or education bent, please let me know.
ReplyDeleteMadrededudley,
