Seen and Heard In Hudson Heights: Support for an Independent Palestine

Here's a touchy topic worth talking about, particularly in a neighborhood as diverse as Hudson Heights.

The "Washington Heights Women in Black" were quietly protesting Israel's occupation of the West Bank in front of the Associated Supermarket this week.  According to the flyer:  "Join Washington Heights Women in Black 6-7 PM on Fort Washington Avenue & 187th Street on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the Month."
