Getting Closer....

The paper has been removed!  Time for a big reveal!

Are you tired of hearing about the new restaurant coming to the neighborhood, Rusty Mackerel?

Tough. We're too excited to stop talking about it.

The past couple of years have seen new restaurants come to the neighborhood with great success: Saggio and Le Cheile.  Both are quite different but offer consistently good - and often great - food, reasonable prices, a friendly atmosphere and more.  But who are we kidding, it's easy to want even more great dining options in the area.

Chef Mac has been tempting us with tantalizing menu ideas on their Facebook page.  According to the recent DNAinfo article, there's going to be wine on tap - excellente!! Here's how the restaurant is described on their official website:
Chef-focused, market driven, wildly creative, New American cuisine will be dished up on small plates, perfect for sharing. Hints of the neighborhood show up all over the menu, whether it be an Dominican sancocho jus, handcrafted liverwurst on Gideon's rye bread, or an inventive stinging nettle cavatelli inspired by the Bonnefont herb garden at the Cloisters.
This all sounds great but...we just want to know when we can get a taste!!
