A Toast to Fort Tryon and a Taste of Washington Heights and Inwood

July 26th, 2012: Save the Date for a Toast to Fort Tryon and a Taste of Washington Heights and Inwood

Sample over 20 Wines and Cuisine from Restaurants throughout Washington Heights and Inwood, all in support of Fort Tryon Park!

Fort Tryon Park on the Linden Terrace

Enjoy an evening of conviviality, fine wine and live music with your friends and neighbors at the annual wine tasting benefit for the Fort Tryon Park Trust. Cosponsor Cabrini Wines will supply an elegant assortment of wines for the tasting and special discounts for orders placed through the event. You can sample over 20 wines from Cabrini Wines paired with delectable food from restaurants in Washington Heights and Inwood thanks to the Washington Heights Business Improvement District. Music by Annette A. Aguilar and the Stringbeans, a Latin Jazz ensemble that incorporates Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian rhythms along with other world music forms including Jazz, Folk and Classical Music.

All proceeds support Fort Tryon Park restoration, horticultural supplies, maintenance staff, free programs, special events, volunteer initiatives and improvements in the park.

Tickets
Ticket sales in advance – $50 per person

Ticket sales at the door (if space permits) – $60 per person
You may pay in advance by check or credit card. Tickets will soon be available for purchase online. They will be available online through Tuesday, July 24, for $50.

After noon on Tuesday, July 24, tickets will only be available at the door. If space permits, tickets may purchased at the door for $60 each and must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards please.

This is a tented event and will take place rain or shine.
No refunds will be available.

Access to the historic Linden Terrace is by staircase only so it is not wheelchair accessible.
