The reader reported that on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at about 12:50 a.m., two men broke into her car and stole a GPS unit. A video camera at one of the buildings on the street recorded the entire incident and the victims are still waiting for the 34th Precinct to respond. The men were walking up Cabrini Boulevard looking into various car windows prior to choosing this particular car.

Unexpected Car Break-In
The vast majority of car break-ins in Hudson Heights seem to take place on Cabrini Blvd. between 190th Street and Margaret Corbin Circle. One reader has reported, however, this troubling incident on Cabrini between 186th and 187th Streets.
