Ft. Tryon Park Trust needs your help!
If you are a resident of Hudson Heights, you've almost certainly visited the impressive park and it's gardens. (And if you haven't, please stop reading this post and go there. Now.)
The Fort Tryon Park Trust needs your support. They're accepting donations towards the continued care of The Alpine Garden. As they report on their website: "The Alpine Garden was restored with the help of FTPT gardener Kean Eng. The funding for his position ends October 11 2011. Please donate now to ensure that we can continue to take care of the Garden. Thanks to a matching challenge from an anonymous donor, your gift will count twice." You can learn more about the Garden and this imitative on their site.
Got a few dollars to spare? Consider making a donation. An anonymous donor will match every gift, essentially doubling your generosity. It's not too early to make a year-end/holiday gift in someone's name!
And if this rain holds off, perhaps go for a stroll through the Alpine Gardens before the Park is transformed into a Medieval marketplace tomorrow!!
