Bleu Evolution Closed by Health Dept

Sunday 4/26/13 update:  It looks like Bleu is open again!

Neighborhood stalwart Bleu Evolution (187th btwn Ft. Washington & Pinehurst) has been shut down by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.  Last night around 8:30PM we noticed that the metal gates were down and today this sign was visible:

When it first opened over a decade ago (anyone know the exact year?) it was one of the only dining options in the neighborhood.  It offered a cozy, eclectic atmosphere with charmingly mismatched chairs and tables, good food and a friendly bar scene.  However, in our opinion it's gone downhill in quality (both food and service) in the past few years especially as other restaurants have opened in the neighborhood.

What will happen to Bleu?  Guess we'll have to wait and see.
