The Parks still need volunteers to help recover from Superstorm Sandy! Here are a few ways you can help this weekend if you're in the city....
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 23rd
Fort Tryon Park
11 am to 2 pm
Our Cafe Lawn needs repair!
Come remove storm damage fences, rake out invasive species and prepare
the lawn so we can enlarge it for the public's use this coming Spring.
Meet at the Heather Garden Entrance to Fort Tryon Park at Margaret
Corbin Circle near the northern terminus of Fort Washington Avenue.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 24th
Inwood Hill Park
11 am to 2 pm
Our leaves and debris need composting and woodchipping.
Help us sort through the piles and take home some woodchips for your Street Tree.
Meet at Payson Park House on Dyckman Street near Payson Avenue.
We will hike into the park so be there no later then 11:15 for the
chance to walk through "Forever Wild" sections of Inwood Hill Park.
If you must show up later, please meet us on the north end of Dyckman
Fields(west end of Dyckman Street and walk north into the park 1/2 mile
to our soccer fields).
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 25th
Inwood Hill Park
11 am to 2 pm
Our Scenic trail needs clearing from storm damage.
Meet at Inwood Hill Park House near Seaman Avenue and 207th Street(at the tennis courts)
We will hike into the park so be there no later then 11:15 am.
If you must come later, please meet us at Shorakopok Rock at the edge of Gaelic Field and the Clove.

Help clean up the Subway Terrace from storm damage and plant bulbs to bloom and spread cheer this Spring!

Corbin Circle near the A train's 190th Street Subway Station Fort
Washington Avenue exit.
